There is something special about Watsons Bay. Surrounded by the harbour and coastline, the village has a quiet character and a strong sense of place. It is this relationship between the natural and built environment that first drew us here.
Coastal living has long been a source of inspiration for our work. The quality of natural light, the warmth of organic materials and the effortless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces are qualities we continually explore in our architecture and interiors. Watsons Bay embodies much of what we value in design — a relaxed elegance, a connection to nature and a sense of belonging to its surroundings.
Four years after establishing our studio in Mosman, we are preparing to open the doors to our Watsons Bay studio, a new setting for the conversations, ideas and collaborations that shape our work.
For us, architecture has always been about more than buildings. It is about understanding a place, the people who inhabit it, and creating spaces that feel connected to both.
Our new studio will occupy a charming heritage shopfront in the heart of Watsons Bay, thoughtfully reimagined as a welcoming space for conversation, creativity and collaboration. A place to explore materials, exchange ideas and bring architectural and interior design concepts to life.
The surrounding Eastern Suburbs have a rich architectural character, from the harbourside streets of Vaucluse and Rose Bay to the established residential neighbourhoods of Bellevue Hill. Each has its own identity, shaped by the relationship between architecture, landscape and everyday life.
As an architecture and interior design practice, we believe the most meaningful homes emerge from a close relationship between people, place and design. From bespoke new residences to considered renovations and interiors, our approach is grounded in thoughtful planning, materiality and attention to detail.
The Watsons Bay studio represents a natural continuation of this philosophy — a space that reflects the way we work and the relationships we value.
